Is dual enrollment better than AP?

AP may be better than dual enrollment because high school students have a greater chance of getting college credit with AP than dual enrollment. This makes most college-bound students prefer AP over dual enrollment. AP tests are set by the College Board, which is a national test, unlike dual enrollment, which is localized to a high school or at best a state.
